New Delhi, Aug 25: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his deputy L K Advani today discussed the fast moving political developments in Uttar Pradesh but chose not to
make immediate comments.
"I won't like to comment now," Vajpayee told here
when asked about Mayawati's reported offer to resign.
Advani told reporters here "I have spoken to my partymen there(in Lucknow) and briefly discussed the issue with the Prime Minister".
He said "I am awaiting authentic information... Either it should come from the Governor or the Chief Minister. Unless I get that authentic information, simply on the basis of reports from here and there, I would not like to comment."
The Deputy Prime Minister said, "Everything will be decided only after receiving the report".
