London, June 10: British number one Tim Henman begins his Wimbledon preparations in earnest at Queen's on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old will play his first grasscourt match of the season when he takes on Davide Sanguinetti in the second round of the Stella Artois tournament.
Henman is short of matches after undergoing shoulder surgery last November, but impressed in reaching the third round at the French Open and will be expected to ease past his Italian opponent on Centre Court.
Queen's is one of Henman's favourite tournaments and he has reached the final in three of the last four years.
The number seven seed will be desperate to prosper once again with Wimbledon only two weeks away.
Watch day one highlights
Andre Agassi will be another big draw on what promises to be an enthralling day of tennis in west London.
The number two seed will follow Henman onto Centre Court to take on little-known Australian Peter Luczak.
The flamboyant American rarely plays in Wimbledon warm-up events, preferring to practise on a specially-built grass court at his home in Las Vegas, but he made a late entry into the Queen's draw after going out in the fourth round at the French Open.
Agassi will be playing his 1000th tour match when he takes on Luczak.
Andy Roddick, the flag bearer for the exciting new wave of American players, will be first on Centre Court on Tuesday when he takes on Rik de Voest of South Africa.
Roddick, 20, has only appeared at Queen's once before, losing in the first round to Mikhail Youzhny two years ago, and he will be eager to make a better impression this time round.
Another exciting young American, Taylor Dent, faces compatriot Robert Kendrick on Court Nine, while Alex Bogdanovic and Arvind Parmar contest an all-British match on Court One.
