Winconsin, Aug 04: Bruno Junqueira won the rain shortened Mario Andretti Grand Prix. Pole sitter Bruno Junqueira took over the points lead with his first victory of the year in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on Sunday. The race which include two delays, one of which lasted more than 2 and a half hours, was shortened from 60 to 34 laps. Junqueira took over the Championship standings lead ahead of Paul Tracy who crashed on lap 11 and did not finish the race. Junqueira, who won his first race at Elkhart Lake in 2001and took the pole in 2002 has said it is his favorite racing venue. Rookie Sebastien Bourdais, Junqueira's Newman/Haas teammate, finished second. Alex Tagliani, who started 13th, finished third.
