Chennai, Mar 07: MDMK today criticised the Tamil Nadu government for having placed various restrictions on people and party cadres to meet party general secretary Vaiko, now in Vellore jail as a Pota detenu.
In a statement here tonight, member of the political advisory committee of the party, N Subramani, alleged that the government had restricted that only three persons should meet Vaiko and that too only for 30 minutes. Many people who came from Kerala and other southern districts of Tamil Nadu to call on Vaiko had to go disappointed without meeting him due to the restrictions, he claimed. Bureau Report
