Srinagar, Nov 20: The stand-off between security forces and militants holed up in a BSNL building in high-security Badamibagh Cantonment area here entered the third day today even as troops fired rockets and mortars after overnight lull to flush out ultras. The militants hurled grenades at security forces triggering a fresh exchange of fire at around 0700 hrs but there were no casualties, officials said.

A CRPF jawan and eight security personnel, including three officers, have been wounded in the 40-hour-long stand-off. The BSNL exchange was also gutted in the exchange of fire last evening.
