Complaint against Bihar minister
Begusarai, Aug 12: A complaint has been filed against Bihar minister of state for sugarcane Ashok Mahto and his supporters for allegedly demolishing and torching nearly two hundred hutments at Brajesh Nagar in Begusarai district.
Begusarai, Aug 12: A complaint has been filed against Bihar minister of state for sugarcane Ashok Mahto and his supporters for allegedly demolishing and torching nearly two hundred hutments at Brajesh Nagar in Begusarai district.
The complainant Dayanand Mahto in a petition to Begusarai Chief Judicial Magistrate Umesh Kumar Singh, also alleged that the minister along with his supporters looted valuables from the villagers in the incident alleged to have taken place on August 7.
Dayanand charged that the minister and his over 100 supporters had stormed the village, sprinkled kerosene and torched the huts belonging to weaker sections, including Dalits.
While Dayanand filed the case yesterday, two other villagers, Jogendra Sahni and Jawahar Paswan together filed a similar complaint case against the minister and others today.
Meanwhile, CPI-ML (Liberation) has demanded immediate arrest of Ashok Mahto, who was not available for comment.
