Jaipur, Nov 20: Describing the multi-crore stamp scam as the "mother of all scams," BJP chief M Venkaiah Naidu today charged that by keeping silence over the issue, the Congress was trying to "hide" something and "protect the guilty". Naidu told reporters here that congress had no moral right to talk about corruption after its silence over the stamp scam.

Similarly, he said, congress was also silent over ethnic violence in Assam and Bihar where state governments were "failing" in their duties to protect innocent people's lives.

Asking why Congress president Sonia Gandhi has not commented on these issues, he said "corruption under Congress rule" will be the main issue in the four assembly elections.
Putting a direct poser to the congress president he said "Sonia ji you always seems to be disturbed and perturbed about corruption but can't you see rs.30,000 crore stamp scam?"

He said, "all is not well with the congress and there is possibility of new equations and polarisation in political field".

Predicting a "division" in Congress whose leaders in Kerala have come out openly against the leadership demanding removal of chief minister by November 25, he, however, said that in the new political equations and polarisation there was no threat to the NDA government at the Centre as there was compelete acceptability of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's leadership.
