Ara, June 10: Three people, sitting on the roof of a stationary bus, were electrocuted and 65 received burn injuries when they came in contact with high-tension electric wire in Babura village of Bihar's Bhojpur district today, official sources said. The accident occurred when the people sitting on the rooftop touched a high-tension wire while climbing down from the vehicle, the sources said.
The bus, carrying a marriage party, was returning to Ara town from a place under Barhar police station.
All the injured have been admitted to Sadar hospital here and the condition of three persons was stated to be serious, Bhojpur civil surgeon R D Ranjan told.
