Hazaribagh, Apr 06: The banned Maoist Communist Centre activists killed three persons in Berokala village of Jharkhand's Hazaribagh district late last night, a senior police official said today. An armed group of MCC raided the village, took the victims to some distance and slits their throat with sharp weapons, deputy superintendent of police Satish Prasad told a news agency here. Police recovered the bodies this morning. Some Naxalite literature was also found from the spot, he said. Old enmity was stated to be the reason for the killing. Meanwhile, the police raided a house in the Rajauli Bazar area in Nawada district of Bihar and arrested MCC area commander Dilip Ram, police superintendent Bachhu Singh Meena said.

A pistol and six live cartridges were recovered from him.

Ram, wanted in several cases, fled from Nawada district jail along with six others in December, 2000.
