Solapur, Sept 09: All 13 nominations for the Solapur Lok Sabha by-poll, scheduled to be held on September 26, were found valid during scrutiny, according to election office sources. Prominent candidates to file nominations were Maharashtra Dairy Development Minister Anandrao Deokate of Congress and former cooperative minister Pratapsingh Mohite-Patil of BJP. The last date for withdrawal of nominations is September 11. The by-election was necessitated following resignation of Sushilkumar Shinde of Congress from the seat after taking over reins of the state. Bureau Report
