New Delhi, Oct 31: Virtually ruling out poll alliance with any party except Akali Dal in the ensuing assembly polls, Delhi BJP today decided against giving tickets to those who were facing serious criminal charges. This was decided at a meeting of the Election Committee of the party chaired by state president Madan Lal Khurana.

The meeting also decided that all those who had contested the MCD elections on the party tickets should not be made candidates for the assembly elections.

The meeting felt that as far possible, the party should not enter into poll alliance in Delhi with any other party except the Akali Dal. However, senior party leader Vijay Kumar Malhotra, who is also the chairman of election campaign committee, was authorised to talk to parties for "one or two seats under special circumstances".
