Srinagar, July 17: A powerful explosion in a government building in Anantnag district in south Kashmir early today left three surrendered militants dead and nine injured, official sources said here. The blast, suspected to be triggered by militants, took place inside a camp for the surendered militants housed in the power development department building at Ashmuqam, about 70 kms from here on the Srinagar-Pahalgam road, around 6.10 am, the sources said. Among the injured were the wife and three children of a surrendered militant, the sources said, adding that all the injured were in a serious condition and referred to Srinagar for specialised treatment.
