Srinagar, Oct 05: The Election Commission has ordered repoll in four polling stations in Pahalgam assembly constituency and one polling booth in Kathua segment. An official spokesman said that repoll in these polling booths will be conducted on October 8 along with elections for seven assembly constituencies of Doda and Kupwara districts in the fourth and final phase of Jammu and Kashmir elections.

The repoll was ordered in 12 - Hardukithal Safiapora, 13 Wullerhama, 15 Batkoot and 15-A Batkoot polling booths in Pahalgam constituency, where balloting was held in the third phase of elections on October 1st.

The senior vice president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba Mufti and six others are seeking election from these constituencies.

There were complaints of rigging and booth capturing, the spokesman said.
He said repoll in one polling booth 72-Taraf Sanji in Kathua district was ordered on similar compalints.
