Mumbai, Oct 28: Enterprise-wide business management solutions provider Aftek Infosys has posted a 31.31 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 13.08 crore in first quarter ended September 30, 2003, compared to Rs 9.96 crore recorded during the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The company's total income rose to Rs 31.46 crore during the quarter under review, as against Rs 20.78 crore registered during the same period of FY-03, Aftek Infosys said in a release on Monday.

Aftek's net sales rose by 55 per cent at Rs 31.11 crore during the quarter, compared to Rs 20.11 crore posted during the same period of FY-03, it said, adding this included Rs 23.30 crore from software exports, Rs 1.30 crore from software (domestic markets) and Rs 6.49 crore from software products exports.

Aftek's investment in Munich-based Arexera Information Technologies GmbH has helped the company expand its market outside US and Japan and also boosted its services income, it said, adding services income surged by 94 per cent during the period under review. Bureau Report
