Ayodhya, Oct 16: VHP today rejected Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav's offer that the outfit could hold its 'Sankalp Sabha' tomorrow at any place five km away from the disputed site in Ayodhya. VHP media in-charge Sharad Sharma told news agencies here that Mulayam Singh's offer was of no use and was irrelevant since Ayodhya's limit extended only to two km from the site.

Moreover, the original venue of the meeting Karsevakpuram was about three km from the disputed site and if Yadav had been sincere, he could very well have allowed the VHP to go ahead with its programme.

Sharma said that the VHP was committed to go ahead with its scheduled programme tomorrow under any circumstances. Meanwhile, efforts were on to arrive at an understanding with the VHP on the venue of its tomorrow's programme with officials talking to its office bearers in Ayodhya.
