Bangladesh, France sign military cooperation agreement
Dhaka, Aug 03: Dhaka and Paris signed an agreement today under which France will provide training for Bangladeshi military personnel, the defence ministry here said.

The agreement provided for the training of Bangladeshi armed forces personnel in French military training institutes, it said.
The agreement was signed by Defence Secretary Ehsanul Haq and French ambassador in Dhaka, Michel Lummaux.
Bangladeshi military officers can undergo training in a number of different countries, including the United States and Britain.
