Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, July 10: Chetram Singh's election as president of the West Indies Cricket Board became a virtual certainty on Tuesday when the only other nominee withdrew. Former West Indies all-rounder Willie Rodriguez said in a telephone interview that he felt Singh had more support from board executives and was withdrawing his nomination.
