Three found dead, 11 still missing in MP bus accident
Mandsaur (MP), June 26: Three persons were found dead this morning and 11 others were still missing in the accident of the bus which fell into the overflowing Retam river in the district of Madhya Pradesh yesterday.

"Four persons were rescued last night and seven this morning. With this the total number of survivors so far found from the mishap site has increased to 11," Mandsaur Superintendent of Police Vijay Kataria said here today, adding three bodies were recovered this morning.
The bus, carrying 25 persons, was on its way to Afzalpur from Diken when it was swept away between Mandsaur and Neemuch district after the driver, trying to cross the overflowing culvert, lost control over it. The driver later jumped from the bus to safety and fled from the spot, the SP said, adding police has summoned him to the Manasa police station in Neemuch district.
The private bus too was pulled out from the river but no person alive or dead was found from it.
Meanwhile, senior police and district administration including Commissioner, Inspector General, SP and collectors of Mandsaur and Neemuch rushed to the spot yesterday to supervise the rescue operation.
