Fatman Scoop ousts Sugababes to take UK No. 1
London, Oct 27: U.S. hip hop DJ Fatman Scoop and the Crooklyn Clan have snatched the number one spot on the British charts from home-grown girl band Sugababes.
London, Oct 27: U.S. hip hop DJ Fatman Scoop and the Crooklyn Clan have snatched the number one spot on the British charts from home-grown girl band Sugababes.
The Official UK Charts Company Sunday said Fatman Scoop's "Be Faithful" ousted the Sugababes' "Hole in the Head" which was pushed to No. 5.
Fatman Scoop was not the only new entry this week. He beat boy band Blue to number one and they had to be content with No. 2 for their new release "Guilty." Reggae singer Kevin Lyttle's catchy carnival song "Turn me on" slipped one place to third while the Black Eyed Peas' "Where is the Love" -- which held the No. 1 slot for six weeks until last week -- fell from third to fourth.
Liberty X joined the charts at No. 6 with their new entry "Jumpin" while British R&B singer Jamelia dropped to seventh with "Superstar."
