Lahore, Mar 07: Well aware that it would be a tinder-box situation in the galleries which might explode at the slightest of instigation, the cricket control board here has urged the players not to show emotions in the middle during the series against India. The chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shaharyar Khan met the cricketers here on Friday and made it clear that they should maintain an impeccable demeanour and not send any wrong signal with their on-field action.

''The players have been told that they have to be well mannered, calm and willing to accept mistakes and should not show emotions or reaction on any issue,'' team manager Haroon Rasheed informed.

Expressing his confidence in the cricketers' abilities, the PCB chief had urged the players to play without bothering about the outcome, he said. ''His message basically was that if the players tried hard and gave their best till the last, the people would also accept any result with sportsmanship knowing their team had done its best,'' Rashid said.
