Darbhanga, June 08: Eleven extremists of the banned Maoist Communist Centre (MCC) surrendered before district magistrate yesterday
Nine activists from Darbhanga and two from the neighbouring Sitamarhi district laid down arms before Darbhanga district magistrate Pradeep Kumar and superintendent of police Sunil Kumar.
They deposited three sten guns, eight rifles and several rounds of ammunition to the district authorities, senior district administration official said adding, all help would be provided to the surrendered ultras to enable them to join the mainstream.
