US soldier killed, six wounded in Baghdad rocket attack
Baghdad, July 14: One US soldier was killed early today and a further six were wounded in multiple Rocket-Propelled Grenade (RPG) attack on their patrol in Baghdad, a US military spokesman said.

The attack occurred at around 6:00 am (0730 IST) in the
al-Mansur area of the capital, corporal Todd Pruden told a news agency.
He said the condition of the wounded soldiers was not known.
Specialist Nicole Thompson earlier said the dead soldier was from the 3rd Infantry Division, without elaborating.
In what appeared to be a separate incident on a highway just north of the capital, a us convoy came under RPG attack.
