Jammu, Aug 05:27th batch of 785 pilgrims left here today for holy cave shrine of Amarnath in Anantnag district of Kashmir despite bad weather. The batch comprising 531 men, 130 women, 20 children and 104 sadhus left in a fleet of 37 vehicles from M A M stadkum.. Stadium here at 0730 hours, official sources said.

The yatra proceeded late today as national highway got blocked due to mudslide somewhere between Udhampur and Ramban last night, the sources said, adding however, the blockade was removed and the yatra allowed to proceed to its destination. So far 70,716 pilgrims left from Jammu to holy shrine since the commencement of holy pilgrimage on July 9.

The final batch of pilgrims would proceed from here to Amarnath on August 10, they said, adding that the yatra would conclude on August 12-Raksha Bandhan day.
