Gujarat Police nab absconder at Ajmer
Ajmer, Sep 02: A person, accused of murder and robbery of gem stones worth Rs one crore was arrested by the Gujarat Police, official sources said today.
Ajmer, Sep 02: A person, accused of murder and robbery of gem stones worth Rs one crore was arrested by the Gujarat Police, official sources said today.
A team of Gujarat Police, here on a lookout for certain criminals visiting Ajmer Sharif Dargah on occasion of Urs, nabbed Hussain Shah at the Ajmer Railway Station yesterday, police said.
Shah had escaped from custody while being taken to court
from jail three months back, they said.
Shah, along with two others, was arrested three years ago for murdering a jeweller and looting his diamonds and other gem stones worth Rs one crore from a running train near A Gujarat Police constable recognised Shah at the station and nabbed him with the help of local government railway police.
