New Delhi, Oct 07: The Nationalist Congress Party today sought immediate resignation of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi saying he had no "moral justification" to continue in office in view of the CBI filing a chargesheet against him. "There are precedents when people, including Former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao, holding top posts have resigned in such a situation. Joshi should immediately resign," NCP general secretary Tariq Anwar said.
Jogi has been accused of "deliberately" using "forged" documents to claim that the intelligence bureau had launched a special operation to target him in the run-up to the assembly elections.
