Scottdale, Feb 03: American Jonathan Kaye birdied four of the last seven holes on his way to a two-shot victory and his second PGA Tour title at the Phoenix Open on Sunday. The 33-year-old Kaye, a Phoenix resident and co-leader overnight with Chris DiMarco, fired a closing four-under-par 67 to finish at 18-under 266 at the TPC of Scottsdale. DiMarco, whose own victory bid ended when he found a greenside bunker with his approach at the par-three 16th for his third bogey of the day, had to settle for second place after returning a 69. A further shot back in a tie for third at 15 under were world number two Vijay Singh and American left-hander Steve Flesch, who carded matching rounds of 66. Phil Mickelson, chasing back-to-back PGA Tour victories for the first time in his career, had led by one with five holes to play before slipping back into a share of seventh with a final-round 72.
