New Delhi, Sept 19: Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani today declined to comment on his ministerial colleague Murli Manohar Joshi`s statement that he would quit the government if charges were framed against him on Friday in the Babri Masjid demolition case by the Rae Bareli special court.

Manohar Joshi's statement that he would quit the government if
charges were framed against him on Friday in the Babri Masjid
demolition case by the Rae Bareli special court.
Advani, who is also an accused in the case, had told
reporters here " I know about Joshi (his statement). I have
nothing to say. I will speak tomorrow (Friday) evening."
Advani was replying to a question about the statement
made by Joshi who said "if charges are framed against me, I
will tender my resignation."
