Former Cong MLA quits party, joins JD(U)
Katni (MP), Nov 08: Alleging `complete ruin` of inner party democracy in Congress, its former MLA from Madhya Pradesh Sunil Mishra quit the party and announced his decision to join Janata Dal(U).

Mishra announcement his decision in presence of JD-U state president Nati Sharma last night.
Sharma said Mishra could be fielded as a candidate of Janata Dal (U) from Katni Assembly constituency and his name is likely to figure in the party's next list. Mishra, who was denied Congress ticket for December 01 assembly elections, had been elected as an MLA in 1985 on Congress ticket.
Both Mishra and Sharma claimed that JD-U would play a significant role in the formation of government in the state after the elections. Bureau Report
