Patna, June 23: Unidentified miscreants hurled a bomb at the house of former Bihar Chief Minister Ramsunder Das in Kankarbagh police station area here late last evening, police said today. Das was not at his residence at the time of the incident and there was no report of injury to anybody, they said.
According to the complaint lodged by Das' son Mritunjay, two youths riding a motorcycle stopped in front of the house before one of them throwing a bomb from a handbag on to the building. After hurling the bomb, the criminals sped away, the complainant said without giving any specific reason behind the incident. An FIR has been lodged in this connection with the Kankarbagh police station, police said, adding raids were being conducted to nab the miscreants. Bureau Report
