Jaipur, Nov 13: Claiming that Congress would better its previous performance of 153 seats in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said parties from outside the state would fail to make any impact in the December one assembly elections. "Political parties from neighbouring states like Rashtriya Lok Dal, Indian National Lok Dal, or even the social justice front would not cut any ice in the coming polls", he told reporters.
These parties were encouraging rebels from either the Congress or the BJP, but they would not succeed, Gehlot said.
About main opposition BJP, he claimed there was already an atmosphere of defeat in the party camp.
The Chief Minister said his party would go for traditional methods of canvassing against BJP's high-tech, and project its work in the last five years.
