Jaipur, Nov 02: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today released its first list of 125 candidates for the December 01 assembly polls in Rajasthan. State party president Shambhu Dayal told reporters here that while allocating the tickets, due representation has been given to hardcore party workers and all castes mainly Dalits
He said 25 of the 32 districts in the state have been covered in the current exercise. There was no controversy in the party over ticket distribution and the list was duly signed by party supremo Mayawati, he claimed.
Dayal said BSP would not contest in constituencies where it was weak but the party would not let the BJP win in any of the seat. Asked whether the party would forge any alliance with the ruling Congress in the state, he said it was to be decided by the leaders of the two parties. Bureau Report
