New Delhi, Sept 17: The Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Vijay Goel yesterday congratulated ace golfer Jyoti Randhawa for becoming the first Indian to win the Japanese PGA tour title.

In a message sent to him, Goel conveyed heartiest congratulations on his brilliant performance, a PIB release said.''You have made India proud,'' he said.

Randhawa won the Suntory Open in Japan by a margin of two strokes and became the first Indian professional to achieve the feat.
The CAE golfer had earlier won the Asian PGA Tour of Merit crown and the Hero Honda Masters twice.
