New Delhi, Sep 01: First things first. Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit recently visited her sister in Washington DC, along with her husband Shriram Nene and their five-month-old son Arin. The visit was to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. We don't have a Ganapati idol at home. So, we had a family get-together at my sister's place, where we performed puja," says Madhuri from her home in Florida.
Since this was Arin's first Ganesh Chaturthi, he was taken to a mandir for a special puja. Says the proud mother, who was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas, "There is nothing as difficult and as beautiful as motherhood. Waking up, feeding the baby and all that - it is sheer hard work, specially in the first two months. Of course, Ram is a great help. Now, I would like to have a baby girl as early as possible." Yes, the stork will come a-visiting again!
"When I start working again, Arin will accompany me. Zoya's script is very interesting. Mine is an author-backed role, but the other characters are equally important," informs Madhuri.

Commenting on her son's features, Madhuri says that Arin has inherited his father's fair features. "But he has my famous smile," she says. The best part of motherhood, says Madhuri, is that Arin has managed to get her husband home earlier than usual.
"Otherwise, he is always stuck up with something or the other. Now, Ram says he can't wait to wrap up work! I am getting the undivided attention of two men. What more can I ask for?" Like the lady herself, life is beautiful for Madhuri Dixit.
