Moscow, June 26: Russia today called for international experts to examine parts of a gas centrifuge handed over to the US authorities by a former top Iraqi nuclear scientist. "According to international media reports, some pieces of a centrifuge have been found in Iraq. Such discoveries should be submitted to international expertise and the UN Security Council should be informed," said foreign ministry spokesman Alexander Yakovenko. US media reported yesterday that the former Iraqi nuclear scientist had turned over to us authorities parts of a gas centrifuge and related documents that he buried in his Baghdad garden in 1991 on the orders of Saddam Hussein.
