New Delhi, July 17: Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav today demanded in the Lok Sabha the immediate release of MDMK chief Vaiko who has been arrested under POTA in Tamil Nadu.

Mulayam Singh Yadav today demanded in the Lok Sabha the
immediate release of MDMK chief Vaiko who has been arrested
under POTA in Tamil Nadu.
As the house assembled, Yadav said, “POTA has been
misused against Vaiko who had extended maximum support to
the anti-terrorism law when it was being legislated by
parliament.
Vaiko has been taken into custody for making pro-LTTE
speeches.
Samata Party member Raghunath Jha also voiced similar sentiments.
