Mumbai, June 25: Senior IPS officer O P Bali will take over as the new Director General of Police, Maharashtra, next month. He succeeds Subhash Malhotra, who will be retiring on June 30, home ministry sources said here today.
Bali has held several postings in the Maharashtra Police, including IG, Kolhapur, Commissioner of Police for Nagpur and Thane, Joint Commissioner, Law and Order Mumbai City and Additional DG establishments. Bureau Report
