Uttaranchal signs pacts with private investors
Dehradun, Nov 21: In line with its policy to invite private investors for development of hydro power projects, Uttaranchal government today signed two MOUs in this regard with a total investment of Rs 300 crore.

Uttaranchal government today signed two MOUs in this regard
with a total investment of Rs 300 crore.
While one MOU was signed with Sunflag Iron and Steel Company.
From New Delhi for 45 MW Hanol-Tuni Project, the other was
signed with Polyplex Corporation of Khatima in Uttaranchal
for 8.4 MW Bhilangana-III Project.
The agreements were signed by Uttaranchal principal secretary, power, S Krishnan, with chairmen of the two companies in the presence of Chief Minister N D Tiwari.
The two projects would bring a total investment of Rs 300 crore to the state, said Avodh Bihari Giri, chairman and managing director of Uttaranchal Jal Vidyut Nigam, the nodal agency for inviting bids from private investors in the sector.
