Chennai, Aug 18: The National Junior and Sub-Junior Tennis Championship will be held here from August 18 to 23.

Events will be held in singles in U-14 and U-18 age categories and in doubles for U-18 in both boys and girls, a press release said here.
The championship is being hosted by the Madras Cricket Club under the auspices of All India Tennis Association and Tamil Nadu Tennis Association.
Boys and girls singles qualifying draw would be of 32 while the main draw would be 64 for the boys and 32 for the girls. Doubles main draw would be 16, it said.
The qualifying matches were held on August 16 and 17 while the main draw will begin from today.



Adidas is the title sponsor for the championship while IOB and TI Cycles are the co-sponsors, the release said.
