Bareilly, Dec 07: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today said that he was ready to work with BJP if it dropped controversial issues. Talking to newsmen here, Yadav expressed his happiness at the outcome of recent council polls in the state.
People have supported the work of his government. He said, adding that the main issues before the people were development of state, irrigation, roads and power.
On Harit Pradesh, he said that controversial issues should be kept aside while running a coalition government.
Yadav evaded questions on AICC president Sonia Gandhi's foreign origin saying that issue of Sonia as a Prime Minister would be discussed after the next Lok Sabha election. Bureau Report
