July 16: Juan-Ignacio Chela has brought a halt to a four-match losing streak by cruising into the second round of the Energis Open in Holland.

The Argentine second seed has suffered a dire slip in form recently but bounced back on Monday to defeat Andreas Vinciguerra 6-2 6-4 in the $381,000 tournament.
Chela was joined in the second round by wild card entry Magnus Norman, who eased past Marc Rosset when the Swiss player was forced to retire from a groin injury while 3-2 and a set down.
Norman will now face Finland's Jarkkon Nieminen in the next round. Niemenen defeated Georgia's Irakli Labadze 7-5 6-1.
