Cold causes deaths in Jamshedpur
Jamshedpur, Dec 05: East Singhbhum police today recovered the bodies of two labourers, suspected to have died of exposure to cold weather.

Police said while the body of Batkeswar Singh (53) was
recovered from Babudih Chunna Bhatta area, that of Vijay Kumar
Sahu (40) was recovered from Goshala area.
Both the deaths were suspectedly due to exposure to cold weather, the police said, adding the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
The steel city and surrounding areas have been experiencing cold weather over the last couple of days with the mercury dipping to 9.6 degree celsius yesterday, met office sources said.
The minimum temperature recorded today was 9.8 degree celsius, three degree below normal, the sources added.
