when a bus carrying election staff overturned on the
Agra-Mumbai road here.
The bus carrying a 50-member polling team was on its way
from Ashok Nagar to Shivpuri when it overturned near a sharp
turn this afternoon, District Collector V L Kantarao told reporters.
The deceased was identified as Manoj Sharma, a teacher, Kantarao said, adding that the three with serious injuries have been admitted to the district hospital.
Rs three lakh would be given to the family of the deceased as part of the insurance cover provided to polling personnel, he said.
All those who were travelling in the bus have been taken out of election duty, he said.
