AP Government responds to PWG demands
Hyderabad,June 22: Reacting to demands made by outlawed Peoples War group (PWG) emissaries, the Andhra Pradesh government has made it clear that `it will not allow PWG to take advantage of the sincerity of the government and indulge in unlawful activities`.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his cabinet colleagues on Friday held a detailed review meeting on the outcome of three rounds of dialogue that took place between the state government representatives and PWG emissaries, an official release said here.
PWG demands included that there should not be any encounter deaths, complete ceasefire and no combing operations by police. "The contention of PWG that armed struggle is a part of their political philosophy is not acceptable in a democratic society", the release said adding the "state government is committed to find a meaningful and permanent solution to the problem". The meeting was attended by Home Minister, T Devender Goud and other ministers besides senior officials, the release added. Bureau Report
