Kathmandu, June 29: Six members of a family were buried alive in a landslide triggered by heavy rains in Gaighat area of Nepal's Udaipur district, police sources said today. Heavy downpour in the area started the landslide which completely buried the family's house yesterday, they said. A police rescue team, which reached the site after the mishap, was able to recover only two bodies, the sources said. Meanwhile, train movement along the Janakpur-Jaynagar railway line, the country's only train route, was disrupted for hours yesterday due to floods in Janakpur area. Half a dozen villages in the area have turned into virtual islands due to the heavy rains. Bureau Report
