Centre passes eviction notices against 4 govt accommodations

Congress and Samajwadi Party, the Lok Sabha was informed
today.
Replying to a written question, Minister of State for
urban development minister Pon Radhakrishnan informed the
house that eviction notice had been passed against five,
Raisana Road, C-II/109 Chanakyapuri and 26-Akbar Road, which
were under unauthorised occupation of Indian national
Congress.
However, he said this matter had been taken to the Delhi
High Court by the party where the eviction had been stayed.
The matter was now subjudice, he added.
Radhakrishan also informed the house that eviction order had also been passed in respect of flat no: 18, Copernicus Lane, occupied by the Samajwadi Party.
Since the party had not been provided an alternative accommodation, the eviction order had not been carried out, he added.
Cellular towers: at least 12 cellphone towers had been erected illegally in NDMC area out of which six were in the sensitive Lutyens Bunglow Zone (LBZ), Minister of State for Home Harin Pathak said and added that notices had been served on the operators. However, he said since the operators had requested for re-consideration as they would face networking problem, no punitive action could be taken against them.
