Pakistan fighter aircraft crashes; pilot dies
Islamabad, July 12: A mirage fighter aircraft of Pakistan Air Force today crashed at a village in Punjab province killing its pilot, officials said.

Pakistan Air Force today crashed at a village in Punjab
province killing its pilot, officials said.
The French-made aircraft was on a routine training
mission when the mishap occurred, an official release said
here.
Pilot Shahab Nawaz, who was fatally injured in the
crash, died later, it said.
"No loss of civilian life and property occurred on the
ground," it said.
An inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the crash, the release added.
