Baghdad, Jan 18: The suicide bombing of the US-led coalition`s headquarters in Baghdad today used 1,000 pounds of explosives, Colonel Ralph Baker told reporters.

pounds of explosives, Colonel Ralph Baker told reporters.
The explosives were carried in a white Toyota pick-up truck, Baker told reporters outside assassin's gate, the main entrance to the coalition headquarters here where he is in charge of security.
The attack was the deadliest attack in the capital since the October 27 suicide car bombing of the International Red Cross and four police stations that killed at least 40 people.
