Replying to a debate on the motion of thanks to governor for her address, Jayalalitha said that the commission had indicted Karunanidhi in the scandal. The Veeranam project was aimed at bringing drinking water to the city from Veeranam lake in Cuddalore district of the state.
Jayalalitha said that it was a specific case and hence the government would move the court on the issue.
