The Supreme Court on Friday asked a special court in New Delhiu to furnish the time schedule for framing of charges in the Bofors case while adjourning hearing on Europe based Hinduja brothers' petition seeking permission to go abroad together.
While adjourning hearing on their applications, a bench comprising justice M B Shah and justice B N Agrawal asked the special court to specify the time schedule for framing of the charges in the case.
Hinduja brothers, Srichand, Gopichand and Prakashchand, facing trial in the Rs 64 crore bofors pay off case, in their applications sought the apex court's permission to go out of India together, saying that their presence was required there to monitor the business interests regularly in view of the recession in the world economy after the September 11 terrorist strikes in US.

They said deterioration of world economic situation has significantly affected their global business. The court in its earlier orders had allowed only two of the brothers to go out of the country by rotation and asked one of them to stay back.
