Three BSF personnel were arrested after the victim singled them out at an identification parade at the BSF camp on Friday. The sources said that the inquiry would be completed soon and based on the findings, the culprits would be punished in accordance to law.
BSF immediately initiated proceedings against the three accused personnel and placed them under suspension after they were identified by the girl who was gang-raped by them at her house at Kullar village on Wednesday.
An FIR was already lodged in police station Pahalgam in connection with the incident, which triggered widespread protests among the people in the area and resentment against security forces.
Meanwhile, the girl was handed over to her family and was assured security by police. Bureau Report
